ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The deadline for the abstract submission of CRODAYSURGERY is until June 01, 2024 at 23:59 CET.

Instructions for authors:

1. The abstract should be written in Croatian and English.
2. The abstract should not exceed 250 words without the Title and Authors. The abstracts should not contain Figures or Tables.
3. Under the title there should be full names and affiliations of all authors and coauthors.

The name of presenting author should be underlined and an email address provided.

The abstract should be structured in several basic parts: Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results and Conclusion

The abstracts won’t be proofread, the authors are responsible for language an grammatical accuracy.

The abstract can be presented as poster or oral presentation, final decision will be on the Scientific board of the Congress.

DEADLINES FOR ACCEPTANCE OF ABSTRACT AND POSTER SUBMISSIONS

Authors will be notified by June 1st 2024 about acceptance of oral presentations. Not all abstract  submissions will be accepted. That does not mean authors can’t still attend the Congress.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS:

Oral presentations: 7 minutes and 3 minutes discussion.

Official congress language is Croatian. Power point slides of posters should be in English.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

Laptops and LCD projectors will be provided at the site. The presenters are kindly requested to deliver the electronic versions of their presentations at least 30 minutes prior to their session beginning to the technical staff of the congress.

POSTERS:

E-POSTER should be made in PowerPoint form and delivered as  .ppt ili .pptx file:

Only one slide will be accepted and should contain entire poster content.

Please use fonts compatible with PC i Mac IOS (Arial, Courier New, Georgia, Helvetica, Times, Times New Roman)

Poster should be in landscape direction. 

Poster text should be in English.

On the top of the poster there should be title, names of author and co-authors, mentors, name of institution, email address of the author. 

The author should stand next to the poster during the „poster walk“ session.

A maximum of three oral presentations and three posters will be accepted per registered participant.

Only one type of presentation will be chosen for each abstract.

Oral presentation or poster presentation will not be possible without registration.

Crodaysurgery reserves the right to change the category (from poster to oral, from oral to poster) of your abstract during the review process.
